Beauty Mark: Watch a Horse Dance with OPI Polished Hooves! Wednesday 24 October, 2012

Dying to see a horse moonwalk, tap dance and pirouette wearing OPI nail polish? This is your video.
This horse has moves!
OPI, the nail brand known the world over for it’s amazing lacquer colors with equally amazing names, has launched its first branded video—and it does not disappoint. Set to French DJ C2C’s “Down the Road,” it features a dance-off between four women and a horse named Lady in Black. (That name, by the way, is an OPI Lacquer name overseas. In the U.S., it’s known as Black Onyx.)
First to the dance floor: a ballerina wearing OPI Pink-ing of You. When her moves are matched by the horse, a tap dancer donning Red My Fortune Cookie steps to the plate. She’s no match for the hooved-one. Next up, a contemporary dancer with No Room for the Blues-painted digits. The grand finale: a popping-and-locking breakdancer wearing Need Sunglasses? who’s met with a horse who clearly knows how to moonwalk. (By the way: The horse is trained by equestrian stuntmaster Mario Luraschi.)
“I always say that nail lacquer can change your look–and your outlook,” explains Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, OPI Executive VP and Artistic Director. “Today, nail color can convey feelings and emotions, expressing on the outside what the wearer is feeling on the inside. In this short film, four women communicate through dance and color. With a trained Thoroughbred who could replicate the dancers’ moves with very little digital enhancement, we were able to capture the unique, energetic and creative culture that epitomizes the OPI brand.”
You really need to see it for yourself!
Which was your favorite dance-off? The ballerina, the tap dancer, the contemporary dancer or the breakdancer?
