This week, Fear No Beauty made the cut as one of the IFB (Independent Fashion Bloggers) Links a la Mode for September 20! As with last time, I read each and every of my co-linked-blogs to learn more about them. And, I found that one connected with me on many levels: Curvy CEO‘s And It’s Not Even My Birthday. In it, she celebrates the one-year birthday of her blog with a list of the top five lessons she’s learned about blogging. Lesson #1 resonates most with me: Nothing is new under the sun…and that’s oh-kay. Every single time I write a blog, I am constantly beating myself up over not getting the story up early before everyone else and their mom posts it, or for not coming up with the most original way to speak about a trend. But, as Curvy CEO points, nobody is YOU. And you have a point of view that nobody else has. You still have something to say—and you are original. And that made me feel all warm and fuzzy, so thanks for the great lesson, Curvy CEO!
