This week, Fear No Beauty made the cut for IFB (Independent Fashion Bloggers) Links a la Mode for November 29! As with last time, I read each and every of my co-linked blogs to learn more about them. I found two to be strikingly interesting: Youth Savage: Little Women and Heavy Husbands: a Response explores the entertainment industry’s fascination with pairing overweight, somewhat below-average-looking men with stick-thin gorgeous gals. I’ve often fretted over this as many women do; this is a thoughtful take on it. And Not Dressed as Lamb: My 40 Year Old Face, Uber-Photoshopped is a smart idea, though I may want to give her some pointers on proper retouching. (I’ve taken high-end beauty retouching courses at SVA; this is not what a ad campaign would look like…but I digress. It’s the though that counts.)
